WHO WE ARE

We are a non-profit organization committed to helping students with aspirations in pursuing a career in medicine. We hope to alleviate the problems that many aspiring medical students face in today's day and age.

Accessibility

Financial considerations often deter students from their pursuit for higher education in the medical fields
There is a lack of career-specific financial support (e.g. scholarships/bursaries) provided for high school seniors to prepare them for their pre-med undergraduate years

Transparency

The path to a medical career is complex and requires intensive research into various options to proceed throughout one’s education
The process tends to be unclear and it is difficult to access a clearer overall big picture of the medical journey

Guidance & Planning

Medical schools in Canada are notorious for having an extremely competitive application process: requiring a 4.0 GPA and stellar extracurriculars to be considered as a candidate
Many students are intimidated by these prerequisites and, despite having a passion for the field, abandon it for other interests

Accessible platform for youths of all backgrounds

By providing necessary financial support through means of scholarships/bursaries/honorariums, Meducation can provide students-in-need with the financial liberty to pursue their medical aspirations. The rewarded sum for overall excellence in academic merit and/or extracurricular involvement and/or financial requirement provides youths of all backgrounds gain the opportunity to gain a leverage to compete equitably. Our consultation services are also provided at affordable rates which can be accessed online by almost all households in Canada.

Providing clarity and insight

Though working in medicine is a long process, Meducation can alleviate previous misconceptions and potential obstacles through providing resources which condense the academic pathway to medicine. Besides understanding the step-by-step process in medicine, students can also gain insight from current medical professionals with a diverse range of specializations through Meducation’s workshops, conferences, and events in general.

Mentorship and consulting programs

With our consultation program, students do not have to blindly struggle with the problems that they are facing. Using the knowledge and guidance of upper years, they can easily sidestep common obstacles to make the path to medicine as easy as possible.
